Urbit is a new decentralized operating system which offers a completely new approach to how we use and control our digital lives. Unlike traditional services, Urbit is a peer-to-peer network that is owned and controlled by its users. This provides a high level of privacy and security, as well as the ability to customize and build on top of the platform to suit individual and community needs.

Urbit represents a new and innovative solution to the problems of centralized control and privacy concerns that many people have with existing solutions. Additionally, Urbit has been gaining traction and building a strong community of developers and users, which makes it an exciting ecosystem to watch and explore.

Since their launch, Urbit has done over $300k in Planet sales and over $9 million in Star sales. Urbit's planets and stars are unique digital identities that sit within a hierarchical system. Planets are the bottom-level identities that can be issued by stars and are used by individual humans as peers on the Arvo network. On the other hand, stars are identities that sit between the galaxy and planets in the identity hierarchy and serve as infrastructure for the network.
