In the week of June 19th, we found 11 rounds totaling $55.8 million, excluding those with undisclosed amounts.
Below is a breakdown of the number companies that fundraised by sector:
Exchange
Bit2Me, The leading spanish crypto exchange which operates a user friendly mobile app for customers. They offer full suite services including self-custody services, an exchange, portfolio management, educational resources, and more. On June 15th they announced a $15 million venture round led by Investcorp and followed by others including Telefónica Venture, Stratminds VC, and Cardano Foundation.
DeFi
Concordia, an Aptos-based novel modular collateral/risk management protocol aimed specifically at multi-chain collateralization, outsourcing of risk, and building up composability that arises from an OS-like environment designed for credit, raised on June 16th a Seed round of $4 million led by Tribe Capital, Kraken Ventures, and followed by Cypher Capital and Saison Capital.
