Below is a breakdown of the number of companies that fundraised by sector:

DeFi

Mintify is a comprehensive NFT trading platform offering advanced tools and data for traders. It provides modules like API & SDK integration, full historical and real-time data, image caching, and more. On July 30th, Mintify raised a $3.4 million Private round led from Arca, Amber Group, Alchemy, Zeneca, Llamaverse, and many others.

Pichi Wallet is a trustless points trading protocol that allows users to buy and sell points from pre-token projects. The company raised on August 1st a $2.5 million Seed round led by Signum Capital, UOB Venture Management, and Mantle, and followed by DWF Ventures, Wise3 Ventures, GBV Capital, Ryze Labs, and many others.

Rage Trade is a multi-chain perpetual (perp) aggregator that operates across various compatible blockchains, including EVM Layer 2s, Layer 1s, AppChains, and Cosmos. The project raised on July 31st $6 million in a public token sale.

Morpho Labs offers a decentralized lending platforms aimed at making lending accessible, efficient, and resilient. Morpho raised a $50 million Strategic round on August 1st led by Ribbit Capital and followed by a16z Crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Variant, Pantera Capital, Hack VC, and many others.

Gaming

Cartridge is focused on developing on-chain games, which are video games that integrate blockchain technology to enhance gameplay and player ownership of in-game assets. Cartridge raised a $7.5 million Series A round on August 5th led by Bitkraft and followed by StarkWare, Fabric Ventures, Dune Ventures, and others.

DuelNow is a bookie-free sports betting platform that allows users to create and join custom crypto bets with set odds. The platform supports NBA, MLB, and MMA bets. The project raised an $11 million Private round on August 1st led by GEM Digital Limited.

Trading

BreakoutProp is a crypto-native proprietary trading firm that offers a trading environment on centralized exchanges with deep liquidity and advanced tools. On July 31st, Breakout raised a $4.5 million Seed round led by RockawayX and followed by Round13 Capital, Mechanism Capital, and others.

Web3

Icebreaker.xyz is a decentralized platform designed to foster networking and collaboration within the Web3 community. It provides a space for users to connect and develop projects. On July 31st, Icebreaker raised a $5 million Seed round led by CoinFund and followed by Accomplice, Anagram, and Legion Capital.

RWA

Zoth is an RWA ecosystem that bridges institutional-grade yield opportunities from traditional finance to on-chain finance. It offers tokenized assets like trade finance receivables and US Treasury Bills. Zoth raised on August 5th a $4 million Strategic round from Ripple, AstraX, Gydra, Foundership, and others.

DePIN

Daylight is a DePIN project that focuses on building and managing decentralized wireless networks. The project aims to democratize access to wireless infrastructure. Daylight raised a Series A of $9 million on July 31st led by a16z Crypto and followed by Framework Ventures, Lattice Fund, and others.

Governance

MetaDAO.fi is a platform focused on DAOs that enables users to create, manage, and participate in DAOs seamlessly. It offers tools for governance, voting, and treasury management. MetaDAO raised on August 1st a $2.2 million Seed led by Paradigm.

Social Platform

JokeRace offers decentralized contests with tools for designing prompts, collecting submissions, and facilitating voting, and rewards. JokeRace raised on July 31st a $3 million Seed led by Maven 11 and followed by RockawayX, Bankless Ventures, Anagram, ABCDE Labs, Mask Network, and several others.

AI

Hyperbolic provides an open-access AI cloud that offers scalable GPU resources. Companies can reduce costs by up to 80% by using Hyperbolic’s GPU access for AI inference. On July 30th, Hyperbolic raised a $7 million Seed led by Polychain Capital and Lightspeed Faction, and followed by Chapter One, Longhash Ventures, Bankless Ventures, Nomad Capital, and others.

L1

Particle Network L1 is a blockchain designed to power Universal Accounts, providing a seamless user experience across multiple blockchains. It offers core functionalities like Universal Liquidity, Universal Gas, and secure, cross-chain interactions. Binance has invested in Particle Network on August 1st.
