Infrastructure
Mezo is a Bitcoin-first blockchain platform designed to enhance Bitcoin's economic capabilities. It focuses on user ownership, reliable bridging with tBTC, and uses BTC for gas. On July 26th, Mezo raised a $7.5 million Strategic round led by Ledger Cathay Fund and followed by ArkStream Capital, Flow Desk, GSR, Aquarius Fund, Origin Protocol, Mantle, and Thesis.
RiskLayer aims to provide decentralized risk feeds similar to Chainlink, facilitating the onboarding of institutional capital into Bitcoin and Ethereum. On July 24th, RiskLayer raised a Private round led by Antler and Momentum6, and followed by WAGMI Ventures, Devfolio, Hypotenuse Labs, and others.
Liquorice is a DeFi protocol offering one-sided lending pools integrated with a MEV-free trading engine. It aims to solve the inventory problem in DeFi by providing per-asset lending pools for private market makers. The company raised a Pre-Seed of $1.2 million on July 29th led by Greenfield Capital and followed by Polymorphic Capital, L2 Iterative Ventures, and HASH CIB.
Caldera is a platform that simplifies the deployment of EVM rollups, offering a seamless process from development to launch. It supports various rollup technologies like OP Stack, Arbitrum Orbit, ZK Stack, and Polygon CDK. On July 24th, Caldera raised a pre-Series A round of $15 million led by Founders Fund and followed by Dragonfly Capital, Sequoia Capital, TrueBridge, Lattice, and ArkStream.

aPriori is a platform that provides tools and insights for managing DeFi investments. It aims to make DeFi more accessible by offering features for tracking investments, analyzing market trends, and managing risk. The project raised on July 25th a $10 million Seed round led by Pantera Capital and followed by ConsenSys, OKX Ventures, CMS Holdings, ABCDE, Flow Traders, and others.
Kintsu is a next-generation liquid staking infrastructure on Solana. It allows users to stake tokens into the Kintsu Vault and receive LSTs in return. These LSTs can be used in DeFi while accumulating staking rewards. Kintsu raised on July 25th a $4 million Seed led by Castle Island Ventures, and followed by CMT Digital, Spartan Digital, Breed VC, Animoca Ventures, and others.

Kuru is a DEX that allows users to trade their favorite coins on a fully on-chain order book. Kuru raised on July 25th a $2 million Seed led by Electric Capital and followed by Brevan Howard Digital, CMS, Breed VC, Velocity Capital, and more.
Multipool is a DEX designed to trade RWAs and cryptocurrencies with a fully trustless, on-chain order book. It features deep liquidity through dynamic bracket pools, MEV bot protection, and zero price impact auctions. On July 23rd, Multipool raised a Strategic round led by Kronos Research.

Bitlayer is a Layer 2 solution for Bitcoin, based on the BitVM paradigm. It aims to extend the capabilities of Bitcoin with enhanced security and scalability. Bitlayer raised on July 23rd a Series A round of $11 million led by Franklin Templeton and ABCDE, and followed by Stake Capital Group, WAGMI Ventures, Skyland Ventures, GSR, and others.
Igloo Inc. focuses on providing tools and infrastructure for creating and managing financial products and services on the blockchain. On July 23rd, Igloo raised an $11 million Strategic round led by Founders Fund and followed by Fenbushi Capital, 1kx, Everest Ventures Group, and Selini Capital.

Network3 is a decentralized platform focused on providing secure and scalable solutions for Web3 applications. It offers a suite of tools and services designed to enhance the development and deployment of dApps. Network3 raised on July 25th a Pre-Seed & Seed round of $5.5 million from IoTeX, Borderless Capital, SNZ Capital, Bing Ventures, and others.

BlonkFi is a money market protocol on the Solana blockchain designed to allow users to collateralize volatile mid-market capitalization assets, such as memecoins, to borrow stablecoins.
