Crypto Fundraises August 9th - August 16th
Welcome to the Coinfeeds Weekly Fundraising Report!
In the week of August 14th, we found 11 rounds totaling $58.6 million, excluding those with undisclosed amounts.
Below is a breakdown of the number of companies that fundraised by sector:
DeFi
Goldlink is a fully on-chain lending and borrowing broker and protocol that offers risk management options for high-yield borrowers and exposure to leading protocols with leverage, and market entry strategies. Goldlink achieves this by bringing real-time data feeds to that traders would have complete control of their operations and be able to choose their exposure to risk. Goldlink raised on August 8th a Pre-Seed round of $1.4 million from Polychain Capital, Kronos, Modular Capital, Reverie, Veda, SkyVision Capital, Double Peak, CoinFlip Canada, and many others.
Puffer Finance, a project we've discovered previously while researching for Genesis, is a liquid staking protocol that offers anti-slashing technology that minimizes node validation risks while maintaining competitive yields with the help of MEV-smoothing. The protocol is permissionless, has previously been given a grant by the Ethereum Foundation, and is launching staking and node operations soon. On August 8th, Puffer raised a $5 million Seed round led by Lemniscap and Lightspeed Faction and followed by Brevan Howard Digital, Bankless Ventures, LBK, SNZ Capital, and others.
