Gaming
Curio is a gaming studio focused on building foundational infrastructure for composable on-chain crypto games, starting with a social strategy title. Curio raised on August 6th a $5.7 million Seed led by Bain Capital Crypto and SevenX Ventures, and followed by OKX Ventures.
Moonveil is building a gamer-first Web3 ecosystem powered by Polygon CDK, connecting multiple games through the Moonveil Eco Token. The project raised on August 8th a pre-Series A round of $9 million led by The Spartan Group and followed by Gumi Cryptos Capital, HashKey Capital, Animoca Ventures, Hivemind Ventures, and Mask Network.
Pentagon Games aims to revolutionize the video game industry by leveraging XR Metaverse, Web3, and AI for GameFi adoption. The company raised on August 8th a $6 million Seed from Animoca Brands, Binance Labs, HyperEdge, NFX, Polygon Ventures, Republic, and others.

Nexio is the first parallelized Bitcoin rollup integrating Move, a highly secure programming language. This rollup enhances Bitcoin's scalability while leveraging the security of both the Bitcoin blockchain and Move. On August 8th, Nexio raised a $2.2 million Pre-Seed led by Lattice and followed by HTX Ventures, Artichoke Capital, Morningstar Ventures, Sharding Capital, SNZ Holding, and many others.
Lync is a consumer-focused Layer 2 platform built on the MOVE Stack, designed to enhance scalability, interoperability, speed, and security. The project raised on August 7th a $1.5 million Pre-Seed from Movement Labs, Levitate Labs, SMAPE Capital, Amesten Capital, Aptos Foundation, LonghashX, and others.
Infrastructure
TONX is an initiative to support the TON ecosystem by providing funding, resources, and guidance to developers building on the TON blockchain. It includes the TONX Accelerator Program, which offers investments, marketing, technical, and business support to participants. On August 8th, TONX raised a $4 million Pre-Seed & Seed led by SNZ Holding and Summer Ventures.
Blockscout is an open-source, fully customizable blockchain explorer trusted by over 500 chains, including Ethereum, Optimism, and Gnosis. It offers reliable exploration, advanced analytics, and multi-search capabilities. On August 7th, Blockscout raised a $3 million Seed led by 1kx and followed by Primitive Ventures, Gnosis, and others.
DEX
Vessel is a ZK powered DEX evolving into a comprehensive Layer 3 DeFi network. It combines the security of decentralized platforms with the efficiency of CEX. Vessel raised on August 8th a $10 million Seed from Sequoia Capital, Avalanche Foundation, Algorand Foundation, IMO Ventures, and others.
DeFi
Ion Protocol allows users to earn with staked and restaked assets by lending and borrowing without price-based liquidation risk. It supports various assets, including LSTs and LRTs. Ion raised $4.8 million on August 12th led by Gumi Cryptos Capital and followed by Portal Ventures, SevenX Ventures, Bankless Ventures, Finality Capital Partners, Manifold, Robot Ventures, and others.
DePIN
Andrena WiFi owns the DAWN Validator Chrome Extension, allowing users to participate in the DAWN Network by validating bandwidth through proof of bandwidth. On August 7th, Andrena raised an $18 million Series A+ led by Dragonfly and followed by CMT Digital, Castle Island Ventures, Wintermute Ventures, ParaFi, and 6th Man Ventures.
Liquid Restaking
Solayer is a restaking network on Solana that allows users to restake their SOL to secure both the Solana blockchain and dApps. This enables users to earn multiple streams of yield, including native SOL staking, MEV-boost, and AVS yield. Solayer raised on August 7th a Private round led by Binance Labs.
Payments
Payman is the first platform enabling AI to pay humans for tasks it needs completed. It offers easy API integration, a powerful dashboard for managing AI budgets, and a flexible task marketplace. The project raised on August 6th a Pre-Seed round of $3 million from Visa, Coinbase Ventures, Boost VC, The Spartan Group, and others.
